THE HOUSE.

La Morada Más Hermosa is a historic manor house located in Marbella’s old town, with a history dating back at least to the late 18th century. According to preserved records, it already belonged to a shipowner in 1792. Over time, the house underwent numerous alterations and was eventually divided into several separate dwellings, almost losing its original character. In 2000, we began a restoration project aimed at recovering the property's original unity while respecting its Andalusian architecture and preserving the historic features that had survived. The hotel opened its doors in 2003 and has gradually expanded to occupy the entire house, which now offers eight guest rooms and spacious shared areas.

INTERIORS

A sequence of courtyards, staircases, and intimate shared spaces unfolds throughout the house, linking each room while preserving the fluid, organic layout that has long defined traditional Andalusian homes.

The peaceful main lounge provides an inviting setting for quiet conversation, focused work, or an afternoon of reading. The dining room welcomes guests each morning for breakfast, while the inner courtyards gently transform the light and atmosphere of the house throughout the day.

Each room retains its original proportions, distinctive character, and authentic materials, remaining an integral part of a domestic architecture rarely found in contemporary hotels.
